Who is Fenna Cerutti?

As sector manager for Infrastructure and Drinking Water, Fenna Cerutti brings sustainable entrepreneurs together, facilitates making sustainable choices and connects clients and contractors to ensure sustainable procurement.

What Fenna sees is that the issues within the infrastructure and drinking water sectors all ultimately run up against the boundaries of physical space. She has an integral vision of space issues that starts from the question 'what value do we create with this for whom?' And which starts with 'what can be done here in this place' rather than 'what should be done here according to the plan'. This requires cooperation between parties - and that is exactly what Fenna does at CSR Netherlands. In her role as sector manager, she supervises the coalition Green Networks and Blue Networks. Both networks consist of an established group of companies, the infrastructure operators and the 10 drinking water companies in the Netherlands, working together to make their operations more sustainable. Fenna appears in the media from time to time. Some examples:

  • "We need to move towards a system where the polluter pays or, better yet, the polluter no longer pollutes." On Biojournal about Nature and Environment's research that our water is becoming increasingly polluted.

  • "To save our water, we need to look beyond our own pond" on cooperation in the drinking water sector in Water Forum.
