Who is Roxana de Raad?

Structural changes within trade chains are needed to prevent abuses such as child labour, underpayment or hazardous working conditions in the future. As sector networks relationship manager and expert on transparent chains, Roxana works to enable these changes so that chains become sustainable.

In projects such as the Futureproof Coffee Collective and FOODCoSt, Roxana works intensively with SMEs and (coffee) farmers in producing countries. Thanks to her extensive network, she is familiar with the structural challenges in the agrifood sector and what it takes to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable sector. This is necessary, as Roxana concludes, "the future of roughly all our food is now under pressure."
